The Varnish Cooks' guitar player, Aaron Maras, is moving back to Lousiana. Aaron wrote his first song before he was born and came into this world screaming it. Nobody understood him then but his purpose remains undaunted. Louisiana instilled Aaron with the wisdom of soil and a love for attics. He is an expert in aquarium decor and gets moved by beautiful rocks.

We wish Aaron all the best and will miss him. He's a great musician and a great friend, and we hope our next meeting will be soon...

Guitarist and songwriter and Gregory Paul joins the Varnish Cooks so the old-time ruckus continues.

The Varnish Cooks just released their first demo CD, Father, Get Ready When He Calls You. They recorded it live in Ben's dining room with Garageband.
